Quality Control

Check inbound goods and returns against a standard you define.

Warehouse racking where received stock can be checked before it is put away

Overview

Quality control is a defined check, not a vague promise to “have a look”. Inbound stock or returns are inspected against the points you care about: damage, contents, labelling, barcodes or a simple good/bad grade.

Failed units are quarantined so they do not remain available to sell.

Benefits

  • Faulty stock stays unsold
  • A written standard
  • Better information for your supplier

How it works

  1. 01

    Write the check

Agree the points to inspect and what a pass or fail looks like.

  2. 02

Inspect a sample or the batch

Units are checked to that standard and separated.

  3. 03

    Report and locate

Passes return to stock. Failures are held and reported.

Who it’s for

  • New supplier intake
  • Fashion returns
  • Higher-value products
